It's taken me forever to answer this, but here goes:
Comment to this post, and I will list five things I associate with you. They might make sense or they might be totally random. Then post that list, with your commentary, to your LJ (or just add a reply back at me). I and other people can get our lists from you, and the meme merrily perpetuates itself.
Finnish
Well, it's my native language, even though I rarely post in it. I find that I'm actually losing some of my language skills, since I read so much stuff on English and keep a mostly English speaking blog.
Bollywood
I got into the Bollywood fandom about 5-6 years ago. There were larger-than-life love stories, great tragedies, disapproving parents, wonderful music, beautiful dance numbers, etc. I've always liked musicals, so I guess it was inevitable that I'd like Bollywood movies as well.
Apart from the song&dance numbers, all of these could also go with Asian dramas... And I did get interested in dramas through f-listers who I'd come to know through the Bolly fandom...
blond hair
There are a lot of Finns with blonde hair, but I think it's much more common to have some kind of middling brown hair. My sister is naturally blonde, but ever since she was about 16, she's been dying her hair black. Originally she just went to get some "dark highlights"...
TV blogging
I like writing about stuff, about what I read and what I watch. It's also a way of organizing my thoughts on something. It depends a bit on the show whether I'll do live commentary with minor edits afterwards or whether I'll write down my comments after watching something. I don't write about everything I watch, only about stuff that I feel like commenting on, because it's interesting, or disturbing, or amusing, or just something that makes me feel like writing about it.
reading
I'm a bookworm and have been ever since I learned to read. I'm also one of those people who has to have something to read, even if it's just the text on the milk carton or something like that. I carry a book with me wherever I go, and if I can't fit an actual physical book into my bag for whatever reason, I've also got several e-books saved on my mobile phone :).
I do read slightly less nowadays than I did before, but I guess my normal rate of 100-150/year is still a lot more than some people ever read...
The one and only new year's resolution that I've made and kept was the decision I made about 3 years ago to comment something on my LJ about every book I read. As a result, I've also been keeping a list of my reading since 2006.
