Heh, it's actually pretty funny: how come there always seems to be a saxophone available whenever Yi Jeon wants to impress some club full of girls and women... Does he keep a reservoir of them stashed in various clubs around the town just for this purpose?
The jerk who whose to date Ga Eul is so full of himself, thinking Ga Eul would want to date him again after all he did :P. Heh, I loved the way Ga Eul just went off with Yi Jeon.
Is that old man demanding something not on the menu somehow related to the owner maybe? I suspect so, because why else would he prepare something that isn't normally served by the porridge shop.
Heh, after Ga Eul's comment about giving the Valentine's Day chocolate to someone who she's greatful to, Jan Di is also thinking of how she is greatful to Ji-Hoo who has always come to her rescue. But I bet if she does end up giving him chocolates, Jun Pyo will be terribly hurt and jealous for her choosing Ji-Hoo over him.
Heeeeee!!!!! Jun Pyo chocolates!!!! Curly hair and surly expression and all XD. How cute!
I love how Jan Di is so defensive about the chocolate and claims to have been making them for somebody else. Also, how he slaps her hand away when she tries to take one from the box :).
LOL!!! I loved the way Jun Pyo didn't escape even though he was totally embarrassed to be participating in the cellphone contest Jan Di dragged him to. She didn't want him to buy her one, she wanted to get one by her own ability (but it's actually he that is carrying her, so it's a bit debatable whether it really is her skill that is at stake here...).
Eeek! Scary Mom and her henchmen are arriving at the place and she sees her son with Jan Di! And then Jun Pyo sees her... I'm not at all surprised of the way Jan Di tries to hide behind his back. His Mom is seriously scary!
Aww, this episode is turning angsty: poor Ga Eul is happily waiting for Yi Jeon in order to give her chocolates to him, when he arrives at the place with two other girls.
Whoah, look at that mountain of gifts! Ga Eul must feel like her simple home-made chocolates are completely inferior to the other boxes he has already received.
Yi Jeon is really being a jerk here:
He asks her to remember that it was just an act and there wasn't anything real involved in that. He does try to warn her off, but I guess it's too late for Ga Eul, who has already fallen for him.
She looks pretty even crying!
Heh, Ji-Hoo really is always coming to Jan Di's rescue :D, though this time it was because Jun Pyo called him.
Bwahaha, I love when Scary Mom asks the guy how ever did Jan Di get into the school, he tells her that she herself ordered it. Mull on that for a while... :D
Looks like Jun Pyo knows his mother well, when he barges into the office and tells her not to touch Jan Di. But this also tells Scary Mom how serious he is about her, in case she wasn't fully convinced about it before this.
Mmmm, Hyun Joong with glasses... He's so pretty! *gratuitous screencap time*
LOL! Jun Pyo turns immediately possessive and jealous when he sees the chocolates with Ji-Hoo. It's so obvious who must have made them and for who... :D
Looks like Jun Pyo and Ji-Hoo are both worried about Scary Mom's reaction, and what she's going to do to Jan Di.
Aww! BFF!!! <3
Eek! Scary Mom appearing at Jan Di's home and little brother opening the door asking whether it's Jun Pyo... This can't turn out well.
She's really scary while she's trying to buy off Jan Di and her family!
Go Mom!!! :D
The family opportunism is very amusing at times, though it can also be very exasperating in different circumstances.
LOL! White piano, of course... (I am starting to get REALLY tired of this same song that has been played already about 897097 times, even though the episode is only halfway through :P.)
I like Ji-Hoo as the slightly spacy friend, but every now and then you can catch a glimpse of an expression that tells how much he regrets having let her go. It was there when he saw the chocolates Jan Di had made, and it appears again when they are playing the piano together. But then he turns away and the moment is gone.
Heh, Jan Di has noticed how he's always there for her when she needs somebody :).
"Then make me it. Geum Jan Di's honorable firefighter." EEEEE! How cute!
What?! Heh, first Mom makes everybody else go out and embarrass themselves, but then she herself is hiding so that nobody can see her :D.
Scary Mom really knows how to show the difference in their classes to Jun Pyo and Jan Di, while trying to embarrass Jan Di as well in the process :P.
EEEE!!! Jun Pyo gets out of the car and goes to Jan Di and kisses her in the middle of the street!!!!!
Scary Mom is not amused...
"Promise me." ... "That no matter what happens, you won't run away from me." He know that his mom is capable of all kinds of things and that resisting her can be really hard.
But I quite like her response. She is not going to promise that. Not because of his mother, but because he himself can be a bit too much at times :).
"commoner gangster Geum Jan Di" hee!!! hee!!
Uh oh, looks the Junpei story is coming soon... That talent scout looks really iffy. Then again, Jan Di really is in need of money, so she's tempted by the offer.
LMAO!!!!! Ji-Hoo is worried and want to know what is going on, so he asks for Yi Jeon's phone and dials Ga Eul's number and then just hands the phone to a very panicked looking Yi Jeon XD.
Just look at him smirking XD.
Looks like he's right to be worried, since Jan Di is working day and night. She puts on a brave front, but is on the verge of a collapse :P.
*cough* Why do I always end up taking ridiculous amounts of screencaps of every version's Rui/Lei/Ji Hoo???
Heh, quick catch there, boy. Though maybe not quite so quick that she missed it - especially with the parting comment about being envious about Jun Pyo.
Um, doesn't this set just scream "respectable modelling company" to you?! Jan Di, I know you can be a bit thick, but, however desperate you are, you should still turn away from the door right now! Being Jan Di, of course she doesn't, and is now locked in the studio :P...
Heh, now I can finally check out other people's posts about this episode. I've been avoiding them until now, since I want to remain slightly unspoiled (though knowing the basic story one can't really be that badly spoiled).
