So, the end is here at last. I already basicly know what is going to happen in this episode, since I spent Monday afternoon hectically refreshing my browser screen at the d-addicts discussion board, reading all the live comments while this episode was airing. Still, it's not quite the same thing to read short comments by someone else as it is to

LOL, it was fun to participate in the refresh-fest at d-addicts. I was also IMing live reactions about the comments with allbloomedout while we were virtually following the episode :). At least we could process our initial shock, disgust and anger over the ending together. But just like you, once I was prepared for how it ended, I actually ended up liking it while I watched it.

Regarding the other characters, there is always room for a ProDai special, especially with the ending Ken and Rei's story had. I, too, am a bit confused whether she really did get married with Tada before she left him?

Some people have theorised that it was only a rehearsal dinner before the final ceremony, but if you look at the screencap where Tada-san is holding the cufflinks, he clearly has a ring in his ring finger. Then again, some people at the d-addicts boards were saying that a marriage isn't legal in Japan before it's officially registered and though most couples do the registration before the ceremony, Tada and Rei might have left it until after the ceremony was over.

That's why I think they should do a special so that all these open questions would be answered!
