Yamapi's new drama
I'm very excited about the recent news on Yamapi's upcoming new romance drama Proposal Daisakusen. The following description of it sounds very nice :) (gacked from D-Addicts forum):
"Yamapi and Masami in the new Monday 9pm Fuji drama called The Proposal Campaign.
The information of Yamashita Tomohisa of NEWS (21) and actress Nagasawa Masami (19) co-starring in the Monday 9pm drama tentatively called The Proposal Campaign was released on the 4th. This drama will start in April. Thought the two of them had worked together in the TBS drama called Dragon Zakura in 2005, this is the first them to co-star in a Fuji Television drama.
The Proposal Campaign is about a guy called Iwase Ken (Yamashita) find himself in an awkward position while attending the wedding ceremony of his beloved childhood girl friend Yoshida Rei (Nagasawa). Since Ken has not been able to confess his true feelings before, he receives a second chance to go back to the past with Rei to restart their relationship. It is a comedy about how Ken struggle for winning back Rei.
Yamashita portrays Ken as a person who is stubborn yet clumsy in his love life. He said "I'm very nervous to be in a love story at on a Monday 9pm drama. Since I've worked with Masami before and she's was also a younger colleague from my high school, I believe we will get along well." Nagasawa's character Rei is sporty and with a cheerful spirit, yet with a strong fighting instinct. She said "This is my second production with Mr Yamashita. I'm glad that we are able to become a fantastic work combination." This drama portrait 7 years of her life, in high school, university, and as an adult member of society. It will also feature her from school uniform to wedding dress. Other actors such as Fujiki Naohito will also appear in the drama."
