Silence, Episode 11
OMG, ZJ is still asking SS to marry him despite all the troubles they've had recently! And she isn't resisting. ShenShen really is too passive at times. She should have refused that ring, even with all the ShiXi residents cheering ZJ on, because she doesn't really want to get married to ZJ. He's so bad for her, and is constantly lying to her, not to talk of the fact she's in love with someone else! *makes me mad*
XG really is hopeless. Even though she knows WeiYi is in love with someone else, she keeps on hinting about their former engagement. Just look at the scene where she puts the matching band-aids on their ring fingers to remind him of the engagement ring that used to be there. Bleah, she really is starting to annoy me.
SS's engagement with ZJ is quite similar to what happened to WY actually. Both of them get engaged because it's expected of them, but don't really have that strong feelings for the other person. SS, too, is having doubts a bit late.
But in the end she does come to a decision and leaves ShiXi in the night. She gave her ring to AhLing, and when ZJ sees it on her, he becomes a complete and utter jerk again (what a surprise) and yanks the ring out of her finger.
Hee, HanShin really is a good friend to WeiYi. He appears ShiXi property looking SS, saying he has something important to tell her. Is he planning to inform her of the cancer or something like that? But he's too late, since SS has already left.
Hah, ZJ's first thought is to go to the evil secretary to find out where WeiYi is, because he's sure that SS has gone to him. Hee, and it seems WY has left the hospital as well, and his ex-fiancée is thinking he's with SS. What a pair these non-otps make, when in fact both WY & SS are wandering alone on the streets (and the lyrics of the song about "walking alone on the streets" and "I have used too many excuses to hide my loneliness" etc. are trying their best to make me cry :P).
ARGH! Of course they miss each other just by few seconds! I hate these near misses they keep having!
ZJ's way of coping seems to be to get utterly drunk again, but why is the evil secretary with him again. Is she interested in him? At least it looks it from the way she's talking and trying to come on to him. They should get together, they suit each other much better than ZJ suits SS.
OMG! AhLing is drowning because she went after her floating shoe, and AhHan is afraid of the water and can't swim. He's feeling so helpless there, but WeiYi happens to come there just at that moment (what a coincidence...) and saves AhLing. He sure seems to be there every time the children are in trouble.
Then he hears from the children that SS has accepted ZJ's marriage proposal! Eee! The scriptwriters of this dorama really are evil! But then he hears that she ran away.
Poor WeiYi! He looks so sad and hopeless there. But then AhHan cheers him up a bit by asking for the promised swimming lessons, so that he won't be afraid of water any more and can protect AhLing. In return, WY asks AhHan to keep it a secret that he's still in QingDoa.
So SS has gone back to Taiwan. And ZJ is following her there, with the help of the evil secretary. And WY is still in QingDoa. This situation really is a mess.
SS can't bring herself to tell Uncle Zuo what has happened, so she just pretends that ZJ had some stuff to do and couldn't leave QingDoa yet. Initially she was thinking of not meeting with Uncle Zuo at all, but when she saw him fall, she automatically rushed to his aid, so he knows now that she's back in Taipei. It's obvious that Uncle Zuo can see that something is wrong, but he doesn't know what it is.
Hee, those swimming lessons were cute, as was the way WeiYi pushed AhHan into the water because he was too afraid to jump there himself *g*. And WeiYi is even smiling and enjoying himself for a while!!!
ZJ really is trying to make trouble as much as he can, since he goes to XG and tells her that he suspects WeiYi is together with SS at Taipei. He's suggesting they work together to force WY and SS apart. I really despise him so much for the underhanded ways he has of dealing with things.
I really feel sorry for HanSin, because he's such a nice guy, but he has no hope of XG ever returning his feelings. He's finally confessing his feelings to XG, but when she doesn't respond at all, he tries to turn it all into a joke. *sigh*
Hee, I always find it very amusing that immediately after WeiYi gets out of the water Vic Chou's hair is dry again, even though it was clearly wet when he was in the water rescuing AhHan. *g* The same thing happened when he fell into water and SS rescued him :D.
ZJ's return to Taipei isn't that happy, and he's still pressuring SS to return his feelings. But his words, "Don't be sad, I swear I will never let you feel sad." are such utter tosh, that I couldn't help giving yelling at the screen. He's the one who has caused her to feel sad quite a few times already, and now he's promising her that he will "never let [her] feel sad". Hah, what utter shite!
But she's finally telling him to forget about her and not to waste any more time on her. She knows she will never love him the way he wants, but he is refusing to understand her words. And then he accuses her of abandoning him because of WeiYi. What a jealous idiot he is!
Awww, WeiYi is teaching AhHan the "lucky star" gesture, and when AhLing does it perfectly and shows AhHan the correct way, saying SS taught it to her, WY is again reminded of SS. He really is great with those children, but he knows he has to leave them, since he's also thinking of his mother and missing her.
Sometimes I really want to smack some sense into ZJ, he's again in his cups and is talking of his great scheme of winning back SS to his father. He's refusing to believe that SS might not have feelings for him, and he's explaining her refusal to himself by saying the proposal was too sudden - it was not because she likes WeiYi.
Hee, the pretty basketball player is back in the picture, and it seems he has been leaving XG quite a few notes that he's now desperately trying to get rid off *g*. Of course she spots him going through her mail and gets curious about what he's trying to hide. Hee, he's so embarrassed when she reads out loud the notes telling how much he was missing her. He really is very cute. Hmm, he gets an awfully thoughtful look on his face when he notices XG no longer has her engagement ring.
WeiYi's mother is so glad to see him back home, and he, too, looks very glad to see her again. They really seem so very close to each other. The situation is quite reverse with his father, who immediately after seeing him starts accusing him of damaging his reputation and doing everything just to spite him. And then he starts accusing "that woman in QingDoa" for being behind all the changes in WeiYi and asks if she needs to be bought off.
What a horrible excuse for a human being. He really is awfully hateful!
Poor faithful friend. XG rushes off in the middle of their dinner, immediately after hearing that WeiYi is back in town. She really is awfully clueless. Two wonderful gorgeous guys are hopelessly in love with her, but she has to desperately cling to the one who does not feel anything for her :P. Even faithful friend tries to tell her that she's living in dreams and that WY doesn't care for her, but she refuses to listen and slaps him for trying to tell her the truth. Poor guy!
I so want to slap her sometimes. And then she's telling WeiYi that she will never leave him and will not let him leave her. GAH! Makes me sick!!!
Her love for WY is just as selfish and stifling as ZJ's love for SS. They really are such leeches who just can't let go.
The previews for next episode look evil, but, on the other hand, it seems SS is finally finding out WeiYi's real name!
