Back in 2001 I was invited to Seattle to discuss policy and the future of Magic at WotC. As a parting gift they gave out a bunch of cool stuff (un-released foils, obscure Japanese stuff) including the un-cut sheets.
And I sucked at Odyssey block draft! Heck, I've sucked at every block since Invasion...until this past Saturday! :-)
My final round opponent at the PTQ this weekend was only 17. When I asked how long he had played he said, "forever". I assumed it was a figure of speech representing how young and lacking this perspective this fellow was.
And then he clarified - since Unlimited.
Needless to say, that's a few months prior to my beginnings, but I think I might have taken him then as a 6-year old!

And you know that I have to come up there so that you, me, and Hoaen can get our Odyssey block draft on, right?

Actually, that sheet has to be pretty old in terms of a lot of things. Wasn't Antiquities printed in 1994?
To put that date in perspective, my first-round opponent at Champs wasn't even born then. True, she's only ten... but still.
