I just found out that my grandfather designed and patented the last Magnetic Core Memory used by computers before the switch to silicon. He also had a patent ready for the next 2 upgrades of that memory core. I thought that was interesting. So now all you silly computers geeks can bow to the fact that my grandpa was an original computer developer :D
