Splitting MKV Files

Hey - I was wondering would anyone would able to help me with a problem that I have been having.  I have Supernatural S1-6 on Bluray and have been ripping them to MKV files so I can cap and then covert to use for vidding.  However, season 1 and 2 will only rip all of the episodes as one huge file rather than separate episodes like seasons 3-6.  I was wondering if anyone knows of a good programme where you can split files - one with a preview window so you can see exactly where in the file you are if able - because I would really love to be able to use these files! lol
