Boy, and howdy. It has been a long time since I have read or posted to this thing. Sorry if I have been out of touch and then suddenly piled loads of comments on your journal entries! The festival didn't kill me this year, but there's always next year! In all seriousness, I think this year's do was about the 2nd most stressful thing I have ever had to deal with. The sense of impending doom was strong, and I kept waiting for something to come crashing down. Thankfully, it never did. Things I learned from this year - more volunteers, keep up with the planning meetings, delegate more. The 20th Anniversary festival is going to be huge and out of control, I can already feel it. I must remember to build in buffer times between things so there is time for last minute fixes.
Getting ready for Comic Con and GenCon. The weather is in the 80s all this week, which should make printing loads of shirts lots of fun. I am getting used to the way I smell again. I will be investing in a foot soaking tub asap.
