I'm a little uncomfortable posting this. I haven't seen the new Disney film Bridge to Terabithia, and it feels Bob Dole-ish to criticize a movie I haven't seen.

I just got back from seeing Casino Royale.

Best. Bond. Film. Ever.

Bond movies have never been this vicious. Bond has never been this cold and smart and mortal.

Goldfinger was my previous favorite. This is a better movie and, heresy though it is, a better Bond.

There are several things I need to post about. I still haven't done my report of SPX, for example. I haven't taken a victory lap, whooping and hollering that the Democrats (God love 'em) look to control both houses of Congress. These are things I should be writing about ( Read more... )
