Learning Curve Two Ways
* I've been teaching myself to animate icons this weekend. I stayed up until 4:00 AM last night working on them. I didn't even realize what time it was until I was finished. It was nice to get into that creative zone again. It's been quite a while since I really been able to focus that much. Only one problem though. Every time I save it as a gif the final saved thing isn't animated.

Anybody have any tips or tutorials for the stupid?
* During my endeavors I've been having a SG Season 3 marathon. Learning Curve is probably in my top five all time favorite Stargate episodes. Which is kinda strange because I'm not much for the cute kid thing. There's just something about the Merrin and Jack relationship that was so captivating. It's gentle, kinda tender side of Jack we rarely see.Sam and Merrin's interaction were fascinating too. Sam seem to think of Merrin as a fellow scientist first and a kid section. Then the Sam, Jack, and Merrin interactions interesting too. I just really enjoy it.
I've always wanted to read a fic where either she asks Jack to help her stay on Earth or where sometime following Merrin's Averium Jack adopts her after he retires for medical reasons or something. I could never write something like that because I'm not good at writing kids. I'm actually not terribly fond of kids. I've just always been surprised not to have seen more fics about Jack and Merrin especially considering so many fics make a big deal out of Jack being great with kids and/or would be a great dad.
* Why in the world did we never see more of Aris Bosch? I'd kinda like to see Aris and Vala interact. Wouldn't that be wacky?
