hey Vicky - it's Sidney (from Springbrook)... I know it's kinda weird that I'm just popping up like this, but I was wondering how you went about applying to schools in Australia (btw, congrats!! and AWESOME!!!)? And how did you know which one to go to??
I'm sorta in this limbo for post-graduation stuff... really don't want to go.
Also, I'm dating a guy named Zach too... craziness.
haha no problem sidney - we're lj friends so i spy on you from time to time as well. :) actually, i just kind of searched online grad programs in japanese and found the monash site (and liked their program), and then followed their application instructions (mailing stuff all the way there was a little nerve-wrecking, but it turned out fine). yeah, post-graduation stuff keeps getting weirder and weirder, but it should all work out fine, eh? good luck with your zach - i know (my? weird...) zach is kind of an oddball, but a sweetie. :) it's fun to have someone to hang out with in the lovely weather - and let's hope it lasts! silly state, this is... :)
I am glad that you've finally figured things out. I am glad that things have been...um "solidified" with Zach. *laughs* I wasn't sure which word to use.
I am REALLY sad that you aren't coming home though. *Sighs* I feel like we've been bringing our friendship to a great new place and now I don't know when I'll see you again. :( OMG! I am going to have to visit you at some point this summer b/c after I move to Baltimore - time stops...then accelerates REALLY QUICKLY.
You putting off Monash will give ME time to save up money to come visit you too! Ha.
solidified is a good term for it, haha. i know, i thought about maryland (and not seeing you :(() and got quite sad. it would be quite the trip though, and would screw with lots of stuff, so i don't think i'm going to be doing it anytime soon. :( it would be totally sweet if you came up though! i could show you around exciting places in gr (and probably take you to dinner downtown...there are amazingly yummy things down there...people and food ;) anyways! yeah! the few extra months will be a GREAT help in saving money for the trip - you and me both. good luck with everything this week hun. *hugs*
