life in spring

man. stuff.
so i guess mr. picnic dude and i are dating-ish. haha, that's pretty out there, so yeah zach and i have been hanging out a lot and he is cool (and i asked him if he would say that we were dating and he was like 'yeah it seems so', haha). very busy though (works a lot) but that's good because i should be busy too being a second semester senior trying to graduate with decent grades...and all.
i think i'm going to put off going to australia until next year (february - 1st term). it just makes a lot more sense. and honestly, this is not based on the aforementioned boy. he is a bonus, but is indeed very busy and won't even be here past august. he does know grand rapids very well though, and has already informed me of a lot of cool stuff around here.
money-wise though, i can apply for all of the scholarships at monash that i couldn't before (i was going in second semester - too late to apply) and i'll have plenty of time to work out loan and visa stuff, in addition to hopefully having some money saved, gasp.
i talked stuff out with my parents a bit and maybe they're used to my craziness by now, but they seemed receptive. :) but i don't think i'd be going back to md any time soon. i just thought about that, and it's kind of sad. :( there is no reason for me to go back after graduation, especially if i have a job (or two) and i would visit my parents in maine later in the summer to grab stuff from there and take the cats back.
so, more changes, haha. i just have to find work now, ah. and graduate - that's important too.
it felt like spring today, and it is glorious. i can now plant a veggie garden and perhaps that makes me most excited about staying here. yay plants yay yay!
