she says we must learn to take the pain with the joy. that we must always learn to take the ouch that so often accompanies extreme pleasure. I don't know.. I can't say I'm convinced. but it's hard to not consider it to be true. but it's just one segment in a very long train of thought.

Its the lesson of yin and yang..... There has to be bad to be good. If not everything would just be so so... Which isnt that great either. Theres always gonna be valleys and peaks(except for south florida). As is life, I've accepted this even though i dont totally agree.

yeah I think the fault in that logic is that with all good must come bad. why can't there just be peaks and higher peaks? I seek to peak hop higher. and I refuse to believe that this new ideology will lead to valleys of disappointment. ahem. [cough, sputter].
