Wow. After the reaction to the first column, i guess i cant waste much time in giving out more advice....obviously ppl are in desperate need of quality advice such as mine. Before I get to todays problem, there are a few issues id like to take care of. First of all, for those of you wishing for my advice, you will be answered in teh order you asked(standard first come first served process). Secondly, while I do love giving advice, this lj is not simply an advice column, it is a journal, advice column, and dont start shaking, but i have MORE ideas too lol. They will be up soon. So your advice might take a few days to get posted. If the current of ppl soliciting for advice holds steady, I should be able to answer your questions in one week maximum. If it is a serious matter let me know, maybe I can bump you up a few spots or have a private session. Well now onto todays problem.
Anna Shih(yes the same one i went kiteflying/duck feeding with), 18, of Pittsford/Victor asked, "Im trying to meet new ppl, can you help me out?" For those of you wondering, and im sure there are many, anna goes to Harley, but she would go to Pittsford Mendon if she went to a public school. She also runs a lot, and even qualified for indoor states. Well Anna, this is an interesting question. The answer doesnt quite jump out at me like it did for the previous question, but im sure i can find a way to help you.
Suggestion 1: Go to a public school! With a student population as small as harley(approx 5 ppl per grade) there is no chance to meet new ppl within the school domain. Come on Anna, youve had the same 5 ppl in your class for the last 4 years, thank god your going to college next year! At a public school there are tons more ppl(side note: the number of ppl absent at east each day(apprx 400) is pretty close if not more than the entire allendale popluation). You would have different ppl in your class each year, more ppl on different teams and clubs, it is easy to see that this would be a great way to meet new ppl.
Suggestion 2: After the success Mitch had raping his gf(refer to comments from past entry) i got an idea. Why dont you just commit some sort of felony or another? It doesnt even have to like be dangerous, you could attempt bank robbery or something. If you do, of course you will go to court. Think of all the ppl you can meet there! Your lawyer, opposing lawyers, hte judge, the jury, the person who types..steponagrapher, right bec?, clerks, police offers, its rediciouls. Then when your found guilty...well this is where your gonna really get excited, you can go to jail! Think of all the nice ppl you can meet there! Now some ppl might say inmates are an unhappy/troubled group. I dissagree, most made one small mistake, or are simply trying to find themselves, maybe they are even in the same boat as you, just trying to meet new ppl. Im sure that in the prison setting you could become life long(or however long your sentence ends up being) friends. And think of all the fun things there are to do while in jail. Like for example, i was running hte other day, and on winton rd, just before University there were a few inmates cleaning up under the bridge. Im sure you would love preforming community service such as this. Obvisouly the jail and court system would be a great way to meet new ppl.
Suggestion 3: Since your a runner, im sure you take several training runs. On these runs im sure you see other ppl walking, running, standing or sitting. Well.....you could suddently develope a habit of running into these ppl. Big dramatic crashes to be specific, you should fall all over the pavement, allthough if there is grass around use that, itll hurt much less. After you finnaly get back up, you have hte perfect opportunity for conversation. Appologize for running into them. Then maybe invite them out to coffee or a movie later to make up for your big mistake(if they seem like ppl youd like to meet, if not appologize and then just keep running). Since you prob go on a lot of runs, then there are probalby hundreds of ppl waiting to be run over, and then taken out, and later become friends with.
Hope you find one of these servicable.
If you would like to contact anna, please contact me first, and i can give you her sn(pending anna's approval).
As always thanks for your time.
