ogling yarn
My first outing with the new spine was last night. I got to ogle the Lion Suede yarn. Waterlillies Print. OMG it's gorgeous. In my myriad of yarn acquisitions, I received what looks to be half a skein. I am so in love with it that I'm adding it to the quilt panel project (outlining the overlapped centerpiece in each square). It adds just the right touch of color and texture, as well as definition to the centerpiece.
Yup. My first outing and it was to fondle yarn. I am a happy camper! Sore but happy. My fondle fetish was satisfied. (And I know the retail price of the yarn so I can keep an eye out on eBay for a deal. $7.00 a skein - can you believe it? Ouch)
