Summer
I've been off work for about 5 weeks now, and I've got about 4 more before school starts up again. Here's what I've done:
Gone to Idyllwild with D, and took a class in book making from Sybil Rubottom. She's an artist out of San Diego.
Filmed myself for my documentary project, which I am fast losing interest in.
Taken a teacher class at the Getty about the art of protest during the Protestant Reformation, the Enlightenment, and the mid-20th century.
Lifted weights, ridden my bike, and otherwise worked on my physical condition, so I'm more functional.
Visited my parents in Tennessee.
Filmed footage of thunderstorms, which are very interesting to me.
Dithered about what shows to enter.
Flailed about in that hellish nowhere otherwise known as a "transitional period." I hate it.
Let my mom teach me how to knit.
Hmm. I think I need a vacation.
