Fleur de lis - yikes
Spent last night with Jackson in the ER. Seems he was trying to jump a fence while on a walk with GF, and misjudged. He thought he just tore his pants, until he looked up at his hand still on the fence post - the fleur de lis stake was STICKING THROUGH IT!! They ran back to GF's house, called me - I took him in - we were as lucky as we could possibly be. No tendon damage, no arteries cut, no bones splintered. He's just going to have a couple of numb fingers. And a couple of very impressive scars, one running the length of his palm, and the exit wound, at his knuckle. Yikes.
