"De Carabas says he's seen her, but I don't think she's spoken with Ingress yet." He's a smart man. Now, can he figure out if they're asking permission or needing to be talked out of it?

If her sister does show up, she'll have something of a right to take the girl with her.

*He is a smart man, that's why he's going to tell her the situation as he sees it and let her figure out what she feels is the best thing to do.*
