Ali led Samus into the kitchen, after a brief detour to peek in on Alured and get the baby monitor. The kitchen was well-equiped to handle amateur chefs of varying skill, having been designed to be child-friendly. Not that Ali's going to mention that fact right now. Instead she focuses on finding the recipe in her favorite cookbook, a fat hand-written affair that had been a present from Grammy Sandy.
