I asked
the inevitable Thanksgiving question. The Nexus is a woefully unthankful place, overall. But I got to see both Jacks, and know what to get them for Yule, so that's a good thing.
Daisy's
practically moved into the Nexus it seems. He's certainly there a
lot. He brought his adopted child, Mel, who was wondering about whether we
allow terrible things to happen to us.
I don't think things with
his brother have been resolved, unfortunately. I know things with
the hunter haven't been. I shouldn't have let myself get so distracted in battle. I'll do better next time.
Namor's decided to deal with his family. He's not sure how, yet, but he's determined to do it. It's a start.
The
Hatchlings are growing up. It's a little sad. I hope they're ready for the responsibilities awaiting them.
There's a new
Crowley. Who hangs out with
humans. I never really expected that. And I expect a lot of things.
I hope
Roger gets to start his school. I couldn't imagine living someplace where the king might not allow that sort of thing. I'd go mad.
Oh! I met a
vampiric squash.
I love school, but I will be so glad when finals are over so I can get back to enjoying the holidays. Five tests, three papers, two "group presentations" (and I swear someday I'm going to hunt down and hurt whoever thought of that nonsense) and at least seven more lectures before I'm done there. And I don't dare complain, because if the goslings hear me they'll start thinking their own homework is optional.
And I'm doing this to myself again next month. I must be insane.
