Alone with Her Thoughts ((Open to anyone who can get to her world))

Ali prowled. Nothing could keep her interest for long. Not her books, not her games, not her friends. Casey enjoyed being able to take the lead in their very very long walk that night, as Ali had no desire to return to an empty house. Something was wrong. She was unsettled. Sage had utterly disappointed her, being nothing at all like she expected from the stories. People were criticizing her relationships.

Damn arrogant monkeys.

Her dreamers were all hard at work, but at that tricky stage where they didn't want her around and there was nothing for her to do anyway.

She and Casey had passed near one of the bars where she knew the Redcaps hung out. She'd hesitated, considering going in, but let Casey pull her away again.

She'd run errands, then ran laps at the school track (Casey running circles around her), but kept circling back to the problem. She was depressed. With all her lovers out of reach, she couldn't hope to distract herself that way. So there was only one thing to do: go Unseelie.

It was an in-between time, just enough time to get ready for moonrise.

Once home again (the house still empty), she saw to Casey's needs then tended to herself. She showered, set her hair, took the gorgeous outfit Red had given her from its box. She pulled on the gold lace camisole, fishnets, black leather skirt, a red and gold tunic from her closet, and the gold pumps.

Now she just needed to find her indulgence.
