Operation Done

Operation clean up ended today.  I vacuumed upstairs in the spare bedroom and in my studio and I sorted Bob's things in my laundry room/back room on the main floor.  All done.  It's such a relief.  The next two days, Bob is off from work so I expect him to kick in and do his part by putting his things away.  I hope to get back to cooking.  I've

I had such doubts that I would be able to make anything in the origami book, haha. I might try the fox tomorrow.

Yeah, I think I will go shopping tomorrow too, mainly so Bob can come with me since he's at work tonight. It's an extra hand to carry stuff, too, haha.

It is a big relief to get all that cleaning done. I hope you can get your cleaning done too. I helped Bob clean his apartment when he moved out of his 16 years ago and man, it was so dirty and it was really like that when he moved in, haha. The last people who lived there did not do their job, ha. Good luck looking at the houses!

A cart is a great idea. Bob used to live in a 3rd floor apartment when I started dating him and it was such murder taking groceries up three flights of stairs or taking laundry down 3 flights of stairs! Ugh.

I agree about Memorial Day. Of course the retail world takes every opportunity possible to peddle crap on sale. Oooof.

Cute origami! I love the paper you used! I got a little origami kit for Christmas and I haven't even cracked it open yet. Jeez.

I noticed Aldi was closed today. My regular grocery store was open but it wasn't really busy. I saw a lot of people out doing stuff though like biking the trails.

Since you posted a photo of the sailboat directions, I had to try it out myself and it worked out nicely! I love origami.

America is weird about not keeping holidays sacred. When it's a statutory holiday in Canada, it's hard to find a place that's open.

I was directly south of you today! We were driving back from South Haven and stopped in Battle Creek. :)

Agreed. America is def weird. Aldi was closed but a lot of places were open. We were joking that the video store was open but of course, it's open on Christmas too.
