I don't know what the hell's going on with me. I woke up this morning with a pain in my knee. It's sore like I fell on or twisted it, but I didn't do either of those things. It was so bad that I had to call in sick. I spent the whole day indoors sitting or lying down. It hardly feels any better now.
The pain is on my left knee, just to the side of the knee cap. I can bend my knee, but straightening it out isn't so fun. It's stiff when I extend it, but once I have it out it's fine. I can stand, but I can't put any weight on the leg. It hurts most when I try to walk. It doesn't look swollen, but the pain is there. Just moving around my apartment is a bit of a challenge. If I wanted to go to a clinic, I'm not sure how I would get to a bus stop or drive my car. (I gotta use that same leg for the clutch.)
The part that really bothers me is that I have no idea what I did to my knee. If I had fallen recently, then I would know what to expect. I haven't fallen on my knees since last winter when I slipped on some ice. I guess I'm just getting old or something.
Needless to say, I hope that it's better by tomorrow morning. If I can't have that, then I hope it's at least better enough to do a little bit of walking.
