Surgery was on Friday. I hate being almost blind, since getting wheeled around in a hospital bed when you can't see anything and getting talked at by faceless blobs before getting knocked out is slightly disorienting.
I can sit up more easily than I thought I was going to be able to, and the overall pain is better than the pain from the cyst itself was, for the most part. When the cyst was in full-on flare-up mode, it felt like it was on fire AND hurt. This just hurts, though this hurt is slightly deeper. It's hard to explain.
I didn't sleep as much as I thought I would the first night, but I slept for 14 hours last night. What.
I'm borrowing "Satchel" from my dad. Funny enough, it's a book I got for him for his birthday. :D I've been wanting to read it for a while - Satchel Paige is probably my favorite "historical" baseball player. (If you go and look at my incredibly empty profile, he's the guy who said the one quote there. :D) So, yay! Book to read.
Been kind of keeping up on Indians stuff. Druby's been moved into the lead-off spot; Grady's down to #2. Intriguing.
I am still really spacey, by the way. This may be related to sleeping for 14 hours last night.
i don't have a tag for this,
this is the surgery tag,
