FAWM: 1 down, 13 to go. Ish.
I have four-ish songs written not including this one; I just have to buckle down and record them. Since my month is gonna be crazy (tomorrow is the Lottery League Draft, which I ~will~ tell you guys about, I swear), I decided I probably shouldn't be picky about quality, and just aim for rough mixes of everything. I mean, it's album writing month, not recording month. I'm pretty much just recording them so I have them.
I recorded this in just over an hour tonight, and I'm fairly pleased for having spent only an hour on it. I admit that I did work out the effects chain I wanted last night. Guitar through way too many effects (delay, chorus, phaser), Moog Realistic SG-1 synth for the bass (which you can barely hear on shitty laptop speakers and might be way too loud through headphones 'cuz I suck at mixing), and my voice with shit-tons of reverb.
YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT ANY OF THAT, THOUGH. WHATEVER. YOU GUYS ARE ALSO PROBABLY FREAKING OUT OVER SUPERNATURAL, WHICH I WILL REVIEW TOMORROW. :P

I want to write some ROCK for FAWM, too, but I can't play drums, and the keyboard drum beats I have suck ass. Instead, have some super spacey shit where you can't understand what the fuck I'm saying.
