A Very Vicey Christmas XVIII: That's Christmas to Me
It felt like a good year to reconnect with those we haven't in a while. Above everything, togetherness and thoughtfulness is something that makes this time of year special. Even if it isn't on the day proper or before a certain day, the feeling and love for each other is what should connect us during the season. With that connection in mind, here's a holiday story for one and all! A bit of pop culture knowledge is helpful, but never required.
Let me invite you into my home, for another special Vice Christmas tale.
A new friend, Scorbunny, arrives on the scene! He's a helpful, energetic Pokemon with a lot of good ideas.
Good ideas like new treats and working together! If everyone makes a little something and we can combine them...
Chocolate chip cookie cheesecake brownies are a new treat to share! They're so rich and delicious and perfect for bringing to a gathering. With everyone around, let's gather around for a Christmas time story.
Here's a favorite of mine, where we return to the place not so far away where all of our familiar friends gather in the wonder of Christmas. ^_^
Not all is quiet, as a boisterous conversation can be heard...
Sensitive topics has gotten two big personalities in a row. Black Widow, very used to this sort of behavior from Tony, gears up and gets ready to go out on patrol. Safety is important during Christmas time, too. But what's that noise?
Ho Ho Ho! Soldier Claus has come with a payload full of presents! Genji might feel a little outshined that he didn't stick with the sleigh. But that did make an awful lot of sound pulling into the living room.
Not to worry, though. Some people are still sound asleep. I wonder what other members of the Overwatch team are up to?
Torbjorn is a little bit of a show off when it comes to building things, including snowmen. Who makes classic sculpture for a snowman building contest...?
The real question should be who is watching the Christmas presents? Ridley swoops in and is ready to fly away with some gifts that certainly don't belong to him!
But not so fast! Hulk comes to the rescue before Ridley can fly away in his trademark fashion. Christmas is safe once again!
It's easy to feel a little small with the busyness of the holiday, but Santa reminds us it's our heart and our actions that determine the impact we make.
And that's the end of my Christmas tale. There's other parts like Spike Spiegel's snowman, Solid Snake's watch, and robotic Christmas crew, but the best part of Christmas stories is passing them along, adding your own details and adventures. Merry Christmas to all. ^_^
