A quick observation.
The American South--at least the Christian mob that dominates it--has learned very little about "compromise" since the Civil war. They (or 'we') have failed to realize that the entities we swear to protect are using us as a shield against an entity who is actually trying to get us up to speed. Except now, instead of being about "territory" and "heritage", it's about "Country" and "liberty". They will die to defend their own stagnation.
