LET'S START OVER
Everything is winding down. Only studying and finals left. I'm upset that I cannot be up on campus to see everyone off. Although actually, that would make me incredibly sad so maybe I'm better off this way. We all know how horrible I am at goodbyes. Even if it is only for four months or so.
I drove up to campus on Monday night. Bunny had called and Jess had left me a message earlier to tell me about the season ender box office party at the Jorg. It was the cutest thing ever. All 9 of us (Jen wasn't able to be there) sitting around a little circle table like a family. We talked about summer plans and what's coming up. Jess is off to Florida State Univ. for graduate school, Elaine is heading to Spain for the next semester, Kaitlin & I are living in Towers again. I gave Bunny the hours I can work. It looks like I'll be taking over Colby's mornings on Tuesdays & Thursdays. I've never done the mornings, I have a feeling it will be a change of pace. Much slower, hopefully. Amy and I are psyched for the country concerts this summer. She's going to most of them so we exchanged numbers and promised to make phones calls before we start drinking in the parking lots so we at least have a chance of finding each other. I cannot wait to be back at work. Don't forget, I've already been out for 60+ days due to my ankle. I'm VERY excited about some of the shows we have coming next semester. A COUNTRY STAR!! I don't know if I'm supposed to talk about, so my mouth will stay mostly shut. I'm VERY excited though. I already said I'm not working that night & Ashley and I have promised to pregame it, for sure.
I start physical therapy for my ankle today. I've been walking pretty well with the brace. Some pain, but compared to what I've felt before, it's nothing. They say I won't need much physical therapy, that I'll be able to do most of it on my own. Hopefully it will be short and painless. Ha. But hey, whatever gets me up and around is fine with me. I'm so very much done with being stuck on one leg.
Okay, I feel that I have procrastinated enough and now I must be off to study for HDFS. Making flashcards is fabulous fun.
