Last friday, Niña picked me up. Caria, Pam, Mocca, Bea and Anne were already there. They just played frisbee and were watching a movie. Dom arrived a little later with one of the best pasta ever.
We watched a few movies. The stand out was Windstruck (prequel to My Sassy Girl). I cried! I lose all dignity with Korean movies. We ate an early lunch composed of fried chicken and Dom's pasta contribution. Had about 5 servings, literally. After lunch, we really didn't stop eating. We picked on the junk food, cookies, butterscotch and cupcake. The latter three was made by Dom, again.
To burn everything we ate, we walked all the way to the Cottonwoods basketball court. Just so you know, that's quite far. Probably a fifteen minute walk up a steep road. Caria and Pam played basketball. Dom, Bea and I stayed in the spectators' sort-of hut. Mocca, Anne and Niña left for Caria's and Dom's surprises. Caria told us that there was an awesome garden a few blocks away. On our way there, a car stopped beside us. Niña, Mocca and Anne came out with two bouquets of flowers and a cake with candles on top. They blew the candles out right there on the road. (:
Afterwards, we went to the garden. Bea and I sang the feel good songs on the swing. We walked back to the house. They had their heart to heart talks. Anne, Mocca and I didn't really join in because I had nothing to share. Haha. Niña left. Bea's ride came over; Anne and Mocca caught a ride with her. Pam, Dom and Caria then grilled me for some stories. Meh. Mum picked me up and I went home.
Yesterday, we had our refresher class. From 8 am to 5 pm, we did nothing but take tests.
Happy Birthday,
Caria and
Trizza!
