Reservations . . .

I have them.

So I did follow up with that guy I met on the subway.  I sent him an email yesterday night.  He responded today.  And for the most part that was pleasant--he uses "u=you" and "ur=your shorthand," which I find irritating (it's vaguely acceptable in texts, particularly if you don't have a full keyboard, but it just looks awful in emails) but I can get past that.  He misused lol, but he only used it once in total, so I can overlook that.

What's really puzzling though is that we met in person and he included photos with his message.  One of the photos was him with his shirt off in front of a mirror, which also troubles me.  I mean, it's not like he sent me a picture of his dick, but seriously--why would you send that for your first follow up contact?  It's one thing to have a picture of yourself in a swimsuit somewhere--at the beach, poolside, water park, something.  I don't care if it's only a pretense, it's a comfortable pretense because without it you just look conceited or desperate or shallow.  This photo is also the one he uses for his facebook profile.  I have not added him yet (because of the reservations, you see).
And he asked me to send photos.  We already met in person.  You know what I look like!

Am I just being ridiculously nitpicky or is this actually as weird as it seems to me?
