Batman: Brave and the Bold is amazing. I was completely floored by how great it was, and I was expecting it to be
pretty fucking awesome. There was hands-to-mouth gasping, and tears of joy, and squeeing. Lots of squeeing. The art is great (old school without being hokey), the voices are great, and so far it's all very in character. I'm not sure how well it's playing with kids or non-comic fans (there's NO backstory, but I don't think kids much care about secret origins), but there's lots of fun for geeks. Jaime is friends with Paco and they have the Superman vs. Batman argument! Ollie and Bruce bicker like an old married couple!
The opening scene, while Green Arrow and Batman are escaping from a giant death trap.
B: "What is this now, the fifth or sixth death trap I've been tied up to because of you over the years?"
GA: "Hey, I said I was sorry...Who knew [the Clock King]'s wristwatch was equipped with knockout gas? What, like you've never made a mistake Bats?"
B: "Apparently I made one when I thought you could help me stop the Clock King."
GA: "You keep complaining - it gives me more time to show you up!"
B (voiceover): Sure, GA and I have our squabbles, but that's because we go way back. As competitive as we are, the truth is we make each other better. And though I'd never tell him this to his face, there's no one else I'd rather have at my side in a tight jam than him.

Batman's cranky, but not overly so. He actually encourages Jaime! My god! What a concept! Oh it's all so adorable.
And the music is jazzy glee.
And the fight scenes are great, especially B+GA working perfectly together.
And Batman electrocutes a tiny adorable creature in order to fight off Shrieking Eels From Space.
And I'm going to say "Now, how 'bout that wormhole?" whenever possible.
And Jaime spends a quarter of the episode in his boxers.
It's like they made this show JUST FOR ME.
