Heroes are for cuddling
While walking through Sears I happened upon a massive fuzzy Superman plushie. Naturally I squished him to my bosom, and then dug frantically through the pile to find a Batman. Alas! None was to be found. But Target has some!

Um, unfortunately it looks like the Batman isn't as cool as the Superman. He looks quite mopey, and rather underfed. I'll have to journey to a Target to see him in RL.
But naturally this search kicked off another session of...::drumroll::...
While checking out the KB Toys sale I found a lil Super Friends (current version) Batman, and on the back was a pic of a full set with a Robin figure! Gasp! So I hunted him down when I came home, but sobsob he's only available in a massive set. http://www.fisher-price.com/fp.aspx?st=7080&e=product&pid=44740 He looks adorable! I want him! I can't possibly justify paying $40 just to get one tiny Robin figure! I don't suppose anyone got this set and doesn't want the Robin?
Yeah, I didn't think so.
Ya know, I gotta say, DCSF is even more unbalanced than most merchandising. They have 5 Batmans, 3 Batman villains, and 1 Superman. Batman and his villains get really cool gadgets. Superman gets Krypto. I can only imagine that the Batmen are taunting Superman endlessly, and someday a toy store employee is going to find the figures out of their boxes and lying on the ground, Superman's tiny plastic fist embedded in Batman's tiny plastic face.

I love that Connor has a "Multi-Purpose Mega Longbow". I'm mentally alternating between "that's what she said" jokes and upgrading it GNC-style to an Ultra Mega Extreme Longbow Hardcore. Too bad that appears to be a seriously crappy line of toys. Stacy, there's a terrible Robin too! Is there a storyline called "Total Justice" that I don't know about, or is that just the name for a line of crappy toys that we'll buy anyways because they're relatively obscure characters that never get any good merchandising?

Pretty please with a cherry on top?

Ok, I'm not sure if I just wasn't paying enough attention before or what, but somehow I didn't realize until today how awesome the DCNF Flash and Martian Manhunter figures are.

That's an awesome accessory, especially for a character who, aside from a treadmill or watch, doesn't really do accessories. Oh man, he's so cute, I could look at him forever. Except that, over the years, his brown eyes would slowly drive me mad.
