Today I got a package from my Cindy who's teaching English in Korea. My new best friend was inside.
His stubby little horns! His dorky ears! His thong! His wee removable vinyl cape! He's a psychotic very happy Korean ripoff pencil case.
And we'll be together forever. ♥
One of these Batmen is not like the others...
My geek shelf. Sadly, Inflatable!Batman does not fit on it. I had my landlord remove a shelf mostly so I'd have room for him, but I needed the high shelf for my class stuff and had to move the rest of my nerdy possessions down. One day they'll all be together again. But Inflatable!Batman and the Batarang will be on opposite ends of the shrine. The flat shiny thing is my penny press of the Tardis, from the Dr. Who exhibit at the Manchester Museum and Science Center. The white lump next to my pound-machine Superman is his Fortress of Solitude that I got for xmas. It's...it's not the size that matters dammit. Eventually I'm going to get a little T-rex toy and a penny so tiny!Superman and tiny!Batman can move in together.
I think Zet Man should be partners with Mina's Robin. This could be the beginning of a beautiful slashy bootleg friendship.
Cindy also sent me Korean candy; crayons that are inside snazzy plastic holders and go up with a twist (Helen said they're posh crayons since you don't get crayon on your fingers); a Prague notebook "A Capital City of The Czech Republic", why this was in Korea I have no idea; poofy stickers of Korean symbols, sparkly panda stickers, and flag stickers; a semi-handmade card; and the traditional origami crane and origami paper. This time the crane was black, which I thought was appropriate for a package with Zet Man. :D Truly, I was the envy of the teacher center. I love my friends.
Cindy sent this now just because she couldn't wait to give me Zet Man, but it reminded me to remind you:
MY BIRTHDAY IS MARCH 31ST. I will be 25.
