I told this person they shouldn't call in sick saying that their mother was in a car accident that was borrowing trouble. That was there reply.

"Went to my youngest with the request for a memorial stadium drawing and got shot down due to homework.   So….the old man sat down and utilized his best mechanical arts and drafting skills and (three or four beers later) put together what should be a suitable facsimile."
