Hello Altona
Eris, Glinda and I live in Altona now.
I was expecting to like it. I'm surprised by how much I like it. We are right in the centre of Altona, and it seems such a community-minded place. Everyone says hello, especially to Glinda when she is wearing her cute rain coat and shaking water out of her floppy ears.
Today Eris and a friend are going to have their first professional manicures. I think they are slightly crazy but suppose everyone has to try it once.
Tomorrow we will practise catching the train between Altona and Williamstown Beach (nearest station to Eris's school).
We will continue setting up the cute new flat (which has been named 'Hope' by Eris), carting over the few remaining precious things from our old house in Williamstown, and generally chilling out.
