It's been kind of a while since the last time I rode. I decided to bring the www today. I woke up late, as usual. I'm on my way up around 12 and Brian calls and tells me its kind of shitty and crowded. Being that this was my day off I wasn't going to turn around. I parked at Granite and took the first run with my ipod over to Vernon. Riding with music is weird, I will have to get used to it. When I got to the bottom I was barely able to hear somebody yelling my name. I looked over and it was Katey and Libby on line for the gondola. I snaked the line and took a run with them, Kendall and Pete. They had been there all morning and had some other things to do so they bounced early. At the bottom I found Bettina, Adam, AJ, and a little later, Keith and Chad. We took a bunch of runs through the park. The landings for everything were bombed out so it wasn't so sweet hitting the features. There were a bunch of fun little rollers to make up for it though. Sooner or later we met up with Burke and his friend Scott and a little while after that Dan and Ned. I don't feel like writing in this, so here is a summary.. I snowboarded with a lot of people today and it was fun. I also learned that you can have more fun riding groomers with friends than you can riding the park.
