Our new guests are quite pleasant people, I find, and there is a noticeable family resemblance. I find them to be quite charming conversationalists. I have not grown uncomfortable with the new addition to our household as I feared I might be. The transition has been the opposite much to my surprise.
Little else of interest is happening in my life, I'm afraid. I live a very simple life, one I'm quite happy to lead. I study, I practice my magic, I serve my king and country to the best of my ability. I craft offerings for the graves of those who fell during the war. It's a peaceful life but one I find much happiness with.
