OH GEEZ OH GEEZ OH GEE--
♥♥ SUPER SMASH BROS BRAWL OMG ♥♥
Ohhhh mannnn. *A* When Jess and I went to Gamestop to pick up the game, the guy who we pre-ordered it from was there, and I could just tell he was so amused at how spastic we were. I hugged the case when I got it and oh man best feeling ever. I love being a gamer!
So when we got back to my house, I let Jess update her console with my wireless and then when she left I started playing. Initially ran into a problem loading, and learned that there are TONS of people suffering from a disc read error, so I was panicking that I'd have to send my Wii in to Nintendo and wait another week. I was seriously on the verge of tears. But I manned up and called the support line and this guy helped me. Thank you, Mr. Mysterious Support Guy! I love you forever! (PS: Nintendo tech support is the best ever! Trufax.)
So about like, 2 hours later I finally got to play and it was glorious and oh geez. I didn't want to jump into Subspace without warming up to Brawl's changes so I started off in Classic Mode with Link.
Brawl is a lot heavier and slower than Melee. That's okay, I guess, but all it means is extended play will ravage my wrists/arm/screwed up muscles. (It's hard to explain, but I can feel the weight, so after a while, it hurts. I'm feeling the burn right now, for example.)
Ran through Classic Mode with Pit also, to learn his moves. I like him a lot, maybe more than Link. It's nice to have two mains now, since I pretty much only ever played Link in Melee.
With that, I unlocked Ness and Captain Falcon. :D/ SHOW ME YOUR MOVES.
I figured I was ready to graduate to Subspace after that, so I started playing and geez it is so epic. I can see where people would say it gets a little repetitive (and if I weren't so loyal to Nintendo or so in love with this franchise I'd say the same). The FMVs are gorgeous, just like I knew they'd be. *A*
Pit/Palutena OTP. (eh? eh? eh?)
Lucas is adorable and he's won my heart. Ness is like, the veteran psychic who kicks ass, but Lucas is like "NO I DON'T WANT THIS GO AWAY ;-;" He broke my heart!!
Luigi made me roflmao, but then he got trophy'd by Dedede. :( I'LL SAVE YOU YET, LUIGI!
So, I've unlocked Ness, Captain Falcon, and Marth (via Subspace), and stopped at the level where Snake appears. Not bad for one day. About 4 hours worth of gametime.

*_* I just wanna lay back and bask in the knowledge that Brawl is out and in a language I am fluent in, but I still have a bit of homework to do. At least I have Friday off this week!
