Isshun no Kaze ni Nare proved to me that Shunji is better suited in more serious roles (not unlike Otoya in WataKyou). He pouts and rages excellently.
All in all I really enjoyed the drama, and I hope someone subs it as I didn't pay much attention to the dialogue. I downloaded the theme, making it my second NewS song. I can't get over how grown-up Mutsuki is, I want him to be little angsty Leangle forever. xD
PS: I couldn't take Endo seriously, at all. I mean, really. Rock Lee hair.
Watched the prequel episode and the first episode of Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon. It's so painfully cheap that it kinda hurts to watch, but that's due to age and the fact that it's toku and the acting is never that high quality. Also, lots of panty shots, but I kinda saw that coming. Tuxedo Mask (whom I constantly refer to as Ibuki :D) is amazing and a jerk. The perfect combination. Never change bb.
Plenty of Ultra 8 movie information going around recently. Images leaked from a trailer [or teaser] of some sort are over at UltramanLAH, Shunji is in one of them. *A* (He looks so determined, squee!) Attempted to read an article or two over at the Moe Game blog on the movie, and was glad to see I'm not the only one concerned about Mebius' role. I hope he's not a side role either, author[ess]! ;O;
I attempted to draw some mostly Gaiden-inspired fanart, but I'm stuck. At least Teppei looks awesome. I'll revisit it later, I've got plenty of time before Gaiden comes out.
Toku aside, my lovely wife discovered a... RO2 private server! Yes, that's right, the Korean open beta isn't even complete and there's a private server. -_- Needless to say we jumped on that in seconds. I got up to level 19 on the test server but they wipe that every two weeks, so I lost my character yesterday. I started on the main server today, only got up to level 8 as rates are much lower. The Koreans love their grinding.
I'll restore your former glory, Verus! ♥ I'll regain the pimp shirt you had in the kRO2 beta!! Just give me some time!
I've picked up Super Mario Galaxy again, after last week when Jess came over and indirectly made me play. I hadn't touched it for a long time, mostly out of frustration. But now I'm up to 33 or so stars and making slow progress. I'll probably never beat it simply because I lack the determination and courage to try stuff. I'm honestly a bad gamer, I'm afraid of dying or making mistakes which is completely illogical due to the extra lives etc. It makes casual gaming like Mario really stressful. Also I have an irrational fear of Boos, probably from back when I watched my brother play Super Mario World, so I've been avoiding the Boo level. ;-;
Speaking of Philip, his birthday party was Friday. Some of his friends came over, and a handful of my mother's friends and relations. Amy and Aaron were there, which both scared and pleased me. I have a HUGE crush on Aaron, he's my realistic ideal man. |D;;;; I talked with him for like 45 minutes about art and graphic design, since he's a graphic designer running his own advertising business. It's helpful to talk to him, since that's the field I aspire to be in.
Philip's friends mostly played Guitar Hero. They're... interesting I guess? I'm so easily intimidated, so I didn't talk to them directly. I drew Philip a Geometry Wars-themed birthday card and they just loved it, so here's hoping I established myself as the cool little sister.
So, my brother is 21 years old, has a car of his own, and can now drink alcohol. I'm really hoping I can trust him with himself. @_@;; As a sidenote, in about a month he'll be working for Jon. Pretty cool!
--the power just went out. God, that was terrifying. The house is large and silent and pitch black, I couldn't see anything. I was so scared I couldn't even stand up. ;-; Strong winds outside, and it's supposed to rain sometime in the next day or so. Ugh, my least favorite time of the year is the change between winter and spring.
Yeah, I have school tomorrow, I should go now. But wait...
