Long time, no post
A friend of mine just sent me a little reminder that I haven't posted in a while. I suppose I should post something.
Not much has been going on with me lately. I'm back working at Starbucks doing some contract work for them. Things are going well. The nice thing was that they requested me to come back for some more work and that allowed me to negotiate a significant pay increase. Woot!
Jeff and I passed our 6 month 'anniversary' just a few days ago. Our relationship is going strong, despite it being a long distance, international relationship. At the very least we've been crossing the border to see each other every weekend. I'd really like to find a job up there (in Vancouver, BC) so I could be closer to him and not have to deal with the cross border stuff all the time. If anyone knows of any decent paying software testing jobs up there whose company is willing to get me a work visa, I'd be much appreciative of the information :0)
I'm heading up there after work tonight to spend the weekend. I'm really looking forward to seeing him.
Outside of work and Jeff, I've basically been a bum. My free time has pretty much been split between playing World of Warcraft and redesigning my website.
