vacation
soooooo, does anyone know dutch? jon's parents called us on monday to ask if we wanted to go on a 2 week vacation, 3 days in new york and the rest of the time in amsterdam! i know they speak english there too but i dont like going places if i dont know at least some of the language. oh well, at least i speak a little german. jon and i have not had a day off together for over a month because he has been working so much and now im working 6 days a week for 3 weeks with a few doubles thrown in. the next time we will have a day off together is april 1st, when we get down to oc. oh yeah, we are going down to oc for my sisters bday, we will be there from sunday april 1st until thursday april 5th so if anyone wants to get together let me know now so i can plan something. so now that we are going out of the country we need to get passports. i hear it takes about 10 weeks right now to get a passport and we are leaving in 8 weeks. which means we get to spend a million extra $$ to get our passports expedited. the last thing we need this month is to pay more money! luna is getting fixed and she and raven need their shots so we are gonna be broke at the end of the month! but i guess its all worth it to have healthy kitties and a way to get outta the country! and no, im not gonna hook up with some hooker in amsterdam (but thats what everyone keeps asking me!)
