Yesterday we went to Abigail's Tea Room, adjacent to the Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum (haven't been to the ships/museum yet). We didn't know what to expect. It turned out that the tea room only offered 2 tea flavors: one black tea supposedly similar to what was tossed into the harbor in 1773 and a strawberry-apple tea replacement reminiscent of what the colonists drank following the Tea Act (except that this version contained kiwi, which I doubt Massachusetts colonists had a lot of). Both drinks were available in hot and iced versions.
Both drinks were surprisingly good (I don't know if the added kiwi had anything to do with it). The ambiance was vaguely "wealthy colonial rustic" (New England-style of course), and the tea room was surprisingly non-busy for a Saturday and offered a nice view of Boston Harbor. It wasn't very expensive, and you served yourself.
