It is 4 in the afternoon and I am beat. I had training for my service project at 9 this morning..too bad I didn't get to bed til 5! I'm kind of excited to go teach now. We went over the lesson plans in training and talked about how to introduce ourselves to the kids. They were so sweet when I went for my first visit. Aww.. i think i'm gonna cry..
So in other news, I just saw the video tape of last night. krunk kids = good times. I got a work study job at the college of engineering and I went to meet the coordinator. Big woman with a man voice who doesn't look at you when you talk. This should be FUN! Luckily I'll have some money soon. I'm almost tempted to get another job though, because work study will probably give me 6-8 hours a week. Work-a-holic Veronica coming out again... everybody watch out.
I wish I knew more cool people here. Sometimes it feels so lonely, and especially when I hear about all the happenings with my friends at home. It's pretty tempting to just skip a week of school to go hang out in Maryland. I really should go join a club sometime...get more involved so I'll have less time to think about this. Yeah, maybe after I eat dinner. I'm coming home this weekend to play with Mop Attack for probably the last time ever. I wonder how all the guys are doing these days. The only person I still frequently talk to is Brandon and I can't wait to see him. Maybe we'll go to Friendly's and hang up the phone a lot so it'll make the chime noise. The show should be lots of fun because so many people will be there. I gotta remember to bring a camera or something... capture all the memories (:
