Drexel, Philly, being broke

It certainly has been a while and I must say that school has been pretty overwhelming. I've been here for nearly 2 months now and I've already changed majors, scheduled my winter classes, taken midterms, gained 5-10 pounds and road-tripped to NYC. Okay, that's not a lot, and really, I have more free time than I know what to do with. This doesn't explain why I haven't found a job yet, but today, i have made finding a job my goal. Hopefully the local Starbucks is hiring because coffeemaking is just about the only thing I have work experience with.

I just got back from my humanities class. It's a small class, and we usually just listen to the professor read essays and make comments about the writing style. It gets a little boring in there, doing this 3 times a week. Today's essay was kind of interesting though. It was about the principles of dumpster diving, from the voice of a homeless man. My professor lives in Center City, so he started talking about all his finds and then someone brought up this one guy. Supposedly there's a homeless man who has his own blog online... he goes into libraries to update it when he can. I'm gonna try to find that later today. Well, that is what reminded me that I haven't updated this in a while...

Alright, now I'm going to venture back out into the rain for more class and hopefully to get a job. I'm excited about coming home soon. (:
