My Communications professor actually mentioned it this morning. It's a Controversies in Communications class and we were talking about the State of the Union address and she's like "Pretty much every channel gave way to the State of the Union last night...except Veronica Mars."

I let out a "WHOO!" Great to see that people have actually heard of it. LOL.

The only reason I don't think it could be his wife is b/c he seemed surprised to see whoever killed him. IMO, he shouldn't have been surprised to see her if they were fighting.

I'm thinking maybe Landry threatened his TA to do it for him? IDK.

Well, we don't necessarily know that whoever he was surprised to see was the murderer. That could just be something to throw us off. RT is sneaky like that...

What I didn't understand is why Mrs. O'Dell didn't own up to seeing the Dean that night. He came to their room. It would be important. Did she withhold that information from the police as well? And if she is guilty of lying by omission, then why? I honestly don't think she killed him. I think perhaps she suspects Landry didn't? Maybe his alibi isn't as secure as one would think.. something went down that night when the Dean was in that room and I don't think Landry and Mrs. Tramp were actually in the Neptune Grand ALL night. But I also don't think that either of them killed the Dean. I have conflicting feelings about it, but I think it was something else.. she's clearly holding back because she doesn't want Keith to find out something else? or to suspect her lover? Who knows.

I'm with you. I think it's because the dean voted for the greeks -- and Tim was pissed about his slutty girlfriend slutting it up at the frat house.
