I thoroughly enjoyed this one:

Let's see: I liked that the mystery was less cut and dry, with multiple suspects, and some twists. It was a boring idea in my opinion (because I couldnt give less of a frack about football ;) but I liked how it played out. It was hilarious when Veronica was caught by the coach and was totally flustered! LOLz. I liked the interesting paper trail with the paint and the popcorn too. It felt like an older episode because it jumped around with twists AND a mystery solved which you got one you didnt totally expect (the dean and the CD).

I think I enjoyed the Veronica/Logan interaction a little more this episode than I have the previous episodes this season. First of all there was more of it so it wasnt just 'stuck in,' secondly they highlighted the personality differences between the two characters to show the new audience why they are such an odd couple. It was an angle that definitely worked for Veronica, considering her past. Despite his bad boy-ness I dont see Logan cheating anytime soon. Veronica is one of the few constants he has in his life with his family basically gone.

The Weevil/Veronica plotline: It was sweet how she tried to help him out. They have such an unusual relationship. I was a little glad Weevil didnt make it into Mars Investigations. I didnt really want him to usurp Veronica's place! :p It seems Veronica isnt Daddy's secretary anymore though, which is a little sad. Is the Mars/Mars team faltering? I miss their interaction. Hasnt been too much this season. *sigh* But then I guess its hard because now there are so. many. characters! It works because you'd have trouble running out of stories, but doesn't in that someone is getting left out every week. Things were simpler in the first season when it was just Veronica, Wallace, and Papa Mars most of the time.

Not much in the development of the rape but they have to close it in 3 episodes!! EEEK! So, pretty good episode and less glaring plotholes (like too much pot!! last episode). Veronica was at her snarky best: "I'm just a painter." "So was Hitler." Haha! She amuses me. Thumbs up!
