Very spoilery question about 3x02

Veronica and Mac were going to a midnight show that night, and Veronica went into the room at 11:45 to get the tickets. Right, sounds good to me. BUT. The RA that brought her home said that he and the girl he was with dropped her off and left just after midnight. Am I the only one who noticed that, or am I simply going crazy/did I hear wrong?

I haven't rewatched the episode yet though. Does anyone know what time he said they left Parker in the dorm?
