(no subject)
I'm so sick it's unreal. I head won't stop hurting, my nose is running, my throat hurts and feels like it's bleeding, i'm sweating so bad that i'm amazed i haven't become a prune yet, and my body is cold and clammy all the time. On top of it, i can't miss work, because there is -no one- to cover if i do, AND next week i only have 1 day off. FUCK RETAIL. I thought i told myself last year that i wouldn't work another christmas in retail. damnit.
i think my district manager has plans for me, she's sort of mentioned but not mentioned me moving up in the company, things are up in the air, who knows.
On a lighter note, though, jake and i finally booked the site for the wedding reception. we're doing it at the sons of norway hall in bremerton, right next to the college. it's PERFECT, has a stage and everything.. good for live music :) And we can serve alcohol there, which we would not be able to do at the rec center. yay keg of beer!
i ran into my dad today, and he asked me why i haven't asked him to pay for some of the wedding... i think he was a bit hurt, but i don't really want either of my parents to pay for it, jake and i are managing. I have a feeling dad will find a way to help. he said he would take care of the flowers, which is a HUGE help.
