Moving right along...

Apparently tapeworms are fairly rare, in Nz at least. Nobody believes it, even though I have done my research, identified the segment, seen the cysts. One pharmacist tried to change the prescription. I also very likely have giardia since 6 or so years ago, and the tail end of the gastroenteritis that was doing the rounds at work. Plus stress-induced reflux.

The doctor decided to whack the shit out of everything since I am such an infrequent patient and not some hypochondriac. After the first dose of the vermox and the metronidazole my waistline lost an inch. The uncontrollable farting stopped.

After the second antibiotic now, I can feel it loosening hold. My constant companions are dying inside me.

Fuckers.

With the energy released back to me, I am a machine of power.

I blame the stress of the last couple of weeks for the bad decisions I made. Enthusiastically I approached the donor water pump, and was eventually left hooking my arm down from above, hand bent back up operating a small spanner on a nut hidden by the pulley wheel of the power steering pump.

I gave up. This wasted at least half an hour.

Next I tried something easy, installing the rods from engine mount to suspension subframe. One did not fit. It was too long, the holes did not line up. No problem I thought, loosen the cross members, and push them.

Nope.

Eventually I checked with another one lying around, and found that the left and right ones are different length, and I have again cleaned up one wrong one. CLean ,buff, paint the right one, and install. More wasted time.

Meanwhile, the radiator hole is empty.

The radiator from Greenvan is miles the best, and a buff shows the brass.

Can't leave it like that, unfortunately. Could've tried a clear coat.

Here's where my brain fails again. Since the hole is too narrow, I figure it must be just possible to slide it in and rotate it.

Nup.

I take the gear cables off again, but it doesn't help, and I end up sliding it down and out of the van sideways. Back where it started, with scratched paint.

More reasoning: if the hole is too small, there must be a way to make it bigger.

Take off the seat.

Take off the plate. The hole is now big enough.

Stick the circlips and shims on the axle ends

Adjust the suspension geometry to something like zero.

Possibly a slight camber the wrong way?

Ran out of time to do the brake and clutch. This is a good thing as will become clear on Sunday.
